Biden Administration Invests $2.1 Billion in Infection Control

The COVID-19 Pandemic caught us off guard and showed the world the devastating consequences of inadequate infection control technology. The Biden administration realized this, and announced today a $2.1 Billion investment to improve Infection Prevention and Control activities across the US Healthcare sector through the CDC.

CDC Director Rochelle P. Walensky, MD, MPH said “Funding will provide significant resources…and opportunities to develop innovative strategies to protect every segment of the U.S. population…”
